Nissan Skyline Gtr R34 1500 Hp
And looks very scary to drive.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R is an iconic machine, particularly in R32 form. This is the model that deservedly earned the nickname 'Godzilla', and not even the latest R35 GT-R has reached the hallowed highs of the original. Thanks to its highly tuneable RB26DETT twin-turbo engine and all-wheel-drive, the original GT-R is a monster that can decimate the drag strip with ease. While the debate rages on between Supra fans and Skyline loyalists, there is no doubt that both are incredible machines. But few have tapped into the GT-R's ability to handle corners. Desmond 'Dezzi' Gutzeit is one of the few who appreciates the machine for its true calling and this video of his R32 proves it.

The video appears to be from a couple of years back, as 65-year-old Dez has since wrapped this car in a black and yellow color scheme. The photography is also sub-par for an age where 64-megapixel camera phones are commonplace. Nevertheless, the video was only recently uploaded to the Hillclimb Monsters Youtube channel, and we're much more interested in the way this thing sounds than how it looks. The car doesn't just sound good neither is it merely competitive. It has won the Jaguar Knysna Simola Hillclimb outright for three straight years from 2014-2016, and it was a 1,500-horsepower R35 that finally dethroned it.

With competition from Franco Scribante Racing's wildly winged R35, it's unclear whether the R32 will remain in competition, but reports claim that the car now makes over 1,400 horsepower, so it's unlikely that the car will go into storage anytime soon. Desmond Gutzeit is a true gearhead and has a particular love for the Skyline GT-R owning numerous examples in various states of tune. Steve Clark from No Sweat Racing tunes these straight-six beasts for him and has been doing a sterling job of making reliable power from these cars. We hope we get to see more of them in the future.
